周春芽
藝術家簡介
周春芽，1955年在四川省重慶出生。他創作的“綠狗”系列最為著名。1982年畢業於四川美術學院繪畫系版畫專業。當時，四川美術學院培養學生創作主要用於在文化大革命時期作政治宣傳。在這段時間，他去了西藏，以社會現實主義風格，創作了一系列描繪遊牧生活的作品。另外，在卡塞爾學習的時候，他深受德國表現主義影響，掌握了西方繪畫的技巧。1988 年，周春芽畢業於德國卡塞爾綜合大學自由藝術系。中、西方對他的影響在 “綠狗”系列作品中得到糅合。“綠狗”系列作品，在九十年代開始創作以他的德國牧羊犬為初型再塗以綠色。
周春芽的綠狗系列包含筆觸淚情的德國表現主義手法、也融合了中國傳統的書法技巧。而綠狗則象徵著周春芽本人。1999年，周春芽創作了“桃花”系列，絢爛的桃花與紅色男女人物親暱相擁，把中國傳統的繪畫題材桃花為背景與現代開放看待的態度作對照。他的山石系列以柔和的深渴色為特徵，描繪各樣參差不齊的石塊和樹木。他的作品《第五號》以抽象的筆觸，讓人聯想起古代中國風景畫。2010年，周春芽在上海美術館舉辦了回顧展，展示出他30年來創作的作品。他的作品被許多國際性畫廊和博物館收藏，包括滬申畫廊，中國美術館和休斯頓藝術博物館。周春芽現居中國成都。
